Hello & Welcome to Crafting Down Under. My name is Brenton. And this is my monthly Gentlemen Crafters Design Team Blog Hop. The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team (#TGCDT) are a group of male crafters & Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, that love to share our creative side with you on the 2nd Friday of each month. For my BLOG HOP I am sharing a card using the Friendly Gnomes Bundle, along with a couple other products, which will be listed below. I created this fun yet simple Valentines Day card, or a card for anytime of the year you wish to tell your partner how much you love them.

Friendly Gnomes

I used a standard Card base in Thick Basic White, then die cut some Sweet Sorbet cardstock with the largest Scalloped Contour Dies, and with some Basic

White cardstock using the deckled rectangle dies die cut with the 2nd largest die. Stamped using Memento Black Ink, the flowers & grass then coloured using blends in Granny Apple Green, Orchid Oasis & Daffodil Delight. Stamped the heart Gnome and then coloured with blends in daffodil delight, Highland heather and Sweet Sorbet, and coloured the nose using SU Blends 900 & 800. I then used a white gel pen to ad highlights, but that is optional. and then Stamping 'Love You' in the top left corner.

Then adhere the stamped Basic White to the Sweet Sorbet Scalloped rectangle with adhesive of your choice, then adhere that to the card base using dimensionals.

Using the Warm Welcome Dies, die cut the heart using the Country Gingham 6x6 DSP in 3 different Sweet Sorbet Ginghams, Cut 3 lengths of 2022-2024 in Colour Bakers Twine Pack in Sweet Sorbet, attached mini dimensionals to back of the hearts and making sure that the twine was adhered to the backs too, die cut the Gnome using the Gnome Dies and adhere to the card using dimensionals and attaching the twine to the gnome also.
I then embellished using some Brushed Brass Butterfly's and some Iridescent Rhinestones. I hope you enjoy creating this fun, simple & whimsical Valentines Card.
