Hello & Welcome to Crafting Down Under. My name is Brenton. And this is my monthly Gentlemen Crafters Design Team Blog Hop. The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team (#TGCDT) are a group of male crafters & Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, that love to share our creative side with you on the 2nd Friday of each month. - The Card base is a standard C6 cards base 14.8cam x 21cm scored at 10.5 cam (AUS & UK) in Thick Basic White. (US just use your standard Card base & layers.)
- Basic White Layer 14.3cm x 10cm
- 2022-2024 In-colour Designer Series Papers (sweet sorbet for die cutting)
- Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper
- Petal Pink & Basic White cardstock (scraps for die cutting)
- Stylish Shapes Dies
- Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed Gems
- 2022-2024 In -colour Baker's Twine Pack (sweet sorbet)
- Memento Ink
- Adhesives
- Have your Card base ready for assembling/
- with your Basic White layer, on the right hand side, score the card @ 2.5cm and the score three times at 1mm increments. Then turn anti-clockwise to the long side and score @ 2.5cm and then score x3 @ 1mm increments. then flip over so the score lines are raised.
- With the Sweet Sorbet DSP, Die Cut the gnomes Hat and trousers (feet) in the designer series paper (you can choose whichever DSP design you like).
- Die Cut the gnomes beard in basic white
- Die Cut the nose in Petal Pink x3 (3 times)
- Die Cut in Basic White the large banner from the Stylish Shapes Dies
- Stamp your sentiment on the banner
- Use a dimensional to attach a Petal Pink nose piece to the die cut beard shape, there is a space for the nose to be adhered.
- Attach the Hat to the beard at the top, there are guides for you to adhere to.
- Then with multi purpose glue, place a strip along the top of the pants and then adhere the beard to the pants. And your gnome is completed.
- Then using dimensionals, stick the Gnome centrally onto the card layer.
- Use some bakers twine to wrap around and tie a knot at one end of the banner sentiment and then using dimensionals, stick to the back ready to stick over the top of the gnome body on a diagonal. (as shown in image).
- Then with the left over Petal Pink nose pieces, using multipurpose glue adhere to the to right of the banner and the second one the the bottom left of the banner as shown in image. this will represent the gnomes hands, like he is holding the banner.
- Using the sparkle adhesive backed gems, embellish your card layer.
- The adhere the layer to the card base using multi-purpose glue.
- Your Clean & Simple Card is now completed.
