Today I'll hopefully be showing you a few extra techniques & products as well as using the usual Stamps, Ink & Paper to create this Stunning Cards.
I do hope you Enjoy & Like what I have created for you,
Ranunculus Romance
- The Card base is a standard C6 cards base 14.8cam x 21cm scored at 10.5 cam (AUS & UK) in Crumb Cake. US just use your standard Card base.
- Very Vanilla Insert 14.3cm x 10cm and 9.2cm x 12.5cm
- Merry Merlot Cardstock for die cutting ranunculus flower, flourish & flowers
- Ranunculus Romance Bundle, Tailor Made Tags Dies & Blossom Happiness Dies
- Blending Brushes
- Ink pads, Crumb Cake, Merry Merlot and Early Espresso.
- Adhesives and Embellishments,
- Die Cut in the very vanilla 9.2cm x 12.5cm cardstock, the notebook edge die from the blossoming happiness dies.
- Using this Layer stamp your design using the ranunculus romance stamp set. ledger stamp in crumb cake, stamp off once and then randomly stamp your very vanilla layer. Then with the Eiffel tower stamp, stamp in merry merlot, stamping off once before stamping your layer, then using the "no.1413" stamp in early espresso randomly. see image below
- Using the crumb cake ink pad, and a blending brush, blend around the edges to distress/age the cardstock giving a vintage look. See image above.
- then with some merry Merlot cardstock, die cut the ranunculus flower & flourish from the ranunculus dies. then add glue to be back of the die cut cardstock, not to much as you don't want the liquid glue to bleed out. Adhere to the card base, trim of excess and the adhere to other areas of the card base. see below.
- with some very vanilla cardstock and a blending brush and merry merlot ink, bend some ink onto the cardstock. Grab some merry merlot cardstock and very vanilla cardstock and die cut the flowers from the ranunculus dies.
- Die cut some Very Vanilla Cardstock using the largest Tailor Made Tag, blend some Merry Merlot around the edges. Stamp the Ranunculus Flower using Early espresso. I coloured the flower using a water pen and the edge of the merry merlot ink pad and the Garden Green Inkpad. ( you could use blends if you like.
- when you have finished colouring, using stampin dimensionals, adhere the first layer to the card base. see image below
- using the 3 flower die cuts and some liquid adhesive adhere the flowers to be underside of the tailor tag, see image below
- cut some crumb cake bakers twin and loop through the tag hole. don't forget to die cut the reinforcement in merry merlot for the tag. and then using liquid adhesive stick the tag to the "notepad page" layer as well as the merry merlot flourish. see image below.
- Using the postage stamp punch, punch out some very vanilla cardstock and stamp sentiment using merry merlot toward the top of the postage stamp punched cardstock. Then reinsert the punched tag into the punch and position to punch off the excess. then using the merry merlot inkpad, edge the postage stamp sentiment with the ink. and then adhere to the layers. see image above.
- Adhere your embellishments and add the stamped inside layer, and your card is ready to send to that someone special.
